Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Reporting
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records (general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, etc.).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
• Ensure timely closing of accounts and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow statements.
• Record and reconcile revenue, delivery commissions, and operational expenses.
Budgeting & Forecasting
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor actual performance against budgets and report variances with actionable insights.
Cost & Profitability Analysis
• Conduct detailed cost analysis of logistics operations (e.g., delivery costs, warehousing, fuel, labor).
• Prepare profitability reports by service line, branch, or region.
• Evaluate pricing models and cost structures to support business decisions.
Audit & Compliance
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws (VAT, corporate tax, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and file statutory financial and tax reports.
System & Process Improvement
• Support automation and digitization of accounting processes.
• Implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
