We are looking for a skilled and experienced Indian Cook to join our kitchen team in Oman. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in preparing traditional Indian and Gulf dishes with authentic flavor and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a variety of traditional dishes including:
• Butter Chicken (Murgh Makhani)
• Biryani
• Majboos
• Al-Ayoosh (various types)
• Paratha (various types)
• Harees
• Qaroos (traditional Omani bread)
• Ensure all dishes are prepared according to authentic recipes with attention to taste, quality, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen in compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Manage kitchen inventory and ensure availability of ingredients.
• Work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and follow instructions from the head chef or management.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in cooking Indian and Gulf dishes.
• Good understanding of spices, traditional cooking techniques, and food handling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
