Position: Hot Chicken Chef
Responsibilities:
1. Culinary Artistry:
• Prepare and cook a variety of hot chicken dishes, including classics like samosas and mandazi (East African fried doughnuts), as well as Indian sweets.
• Showcase creativity by experimenting with flavors, textures, and presentation.
2. Recipe Mastery:
• Be the guardian of secret spice blends and in-house recipes.
• Execute recipes with precision, ensuring consistent quality.
3. Menu Development:
• Collaborate with the head chef to create a tantalizing menu that celebrates hot chicken delights.
• Introduce seasonal specials and fusion twists.
4. Kitchen Leadership:
• Lead by example—inspire the kitchen team with your passion and expertise.
• Delegate tasks efficiently and maintain a smooth kitchen operation.
5. Quality Control:
• Taste, taste, taste! Ensure every dish leaving the kitchen meets the highest standards.
• Monitor portion sizes, plating, and overall presentation.
6. Hygiene and Safety:
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness in your workspace.
• Follow food safety guidelines religiously.
7. English Communication:
• Fluent English is a must. Communicate effectively with the team and front-of-house staff.
8. Age and Availability:
• Age range: 25-40 years.
