As a Storekeeper Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient and organized operations within our store or warehouse. You will work closely with the storekeeper or warehouse manager to manage inventory, receive shipments, and maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the storage area. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the smooth functioning of our facility. Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming merchandise or supplies.Help in accurately recording received items and updating inventory records using computerized systems or manual logs.Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory storage areas to ensure efficient space utilization. Order Fulfillment:Assist in packing and preparing orders for shipment or delivery.Aid in loading and unloading delivery vehicles as needed. Stock Maintenance:Help in rotating stock to ensure older items are used first (FIFO - First In, First Out).Assist in identifying slow-moving or expired items for proper disposition.
