1. Instructs students in assigned technical/vocational area(s) and career development skills.
2. Maintains students’ awareness of industries’ employment needs and requirements.
3. Instructs students in appropriate job seeking and retention skills.
4. Establishes and maintains a well-disciplined and orderly controlled classroom learning environment.
5. Observes and evaluates students’ work site performance.
6. Establishes and maintains safety policies and procedures for classroom and work sites.
7. Monitors performance by assessing needs, testing skills and knowledge, and then communicating results to students.
8. Develops, updates, and maintains students’ training.
9. Communicates effectively with students, administrators, parents, and staff concerning students’ progress and program needs, evaluates, selects, develops, and adapts a variety of appropriate instructional materials.
