We are seeking a skilled screen printing operator to join our team. As a screen printing operator, you will be responsible for overseeing the screen printing process, including designing screen print patterns, preparing stencils, mixing and loading screen ink, printing the final design, cleaning the printing machine, troubleshooting errors, and drying final printed garments. You will also be responsible for examining work orders to determine estimated printing times, ink, and material quantities, and selecting screen size, degreasing agents, and emulsion coatings.
Responsibilities
Designing screen patterns according to customer specifications
Selecting screen size, degreasing agents, and emulsion coatings
Loading screens into the printer
Installing and repositioning screen printing plates and pressure roles
Calibrating printer before the batch is printed
Running prints and performing quality checks throughout the printing process
Troubleshooting problems as they arise
