We are Hiring at Tafaseel BPO Position: Health and Safety Officer (Permanent / Project Focused) Salary: To Be discussed Location: /Dubai As a Health and Safety Officer at Tafaseel BPO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our employees at Tafaseel BPO Responsibilities: • Co-develop, implement and maintain comprehensive health and safety programs, policies, and procedures that comply with regulations. • Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate corrective actions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver health and safety training programs, including new employee orientation, to ensure awareness and compliance with safety protocols. • Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near misses, analysing root causes and recommending preventive measures to mitigate future risks. • Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and training activities, and prepare relevant reports for management. • Stay updated with current health and safety regulations and industry trends, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and making recommendations for enhancing the safety culture. • Conduct regular audits and site inspections to assess compliance with health and safety standards, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring timely corrective actions. • Provide advice and guidance to employees and managers on health and safety issues, including adherence to safe work practices. • Ensure compliance and promote best practices. • Participate in incident response activities, including emergency preparedness and evacuation drills, and provide guidance during emergencies. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. • Proven experience working as a Health and Safety Officer for 23 years, preferably in the BPO • In-depth knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify potential hazards and recommend effective preventive measures. • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and influence employees at all levels. • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records and documentation. • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST) or similar are desirable. • Proficiency in using relevant health and safety software and tools.
