Our salon is looking for an experienced Facial and Laser Technician to offer our guests a variety of cosmetology procedures, such as laser hair removal and facial treatment. You must have a certificate from an accredited vocational program. Any experience you have as an aesthetician and laser is a plus. While technical qualifications are the most important, we also want a candidate with strong communication and customer service skills. You must make our clients comfortable and happy during their procedures. Therefore, experience in similar roles, such as a massage therapist or nail technician position, is also a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Greet clients as they come in for their procedure
• Perform hair removal, photorejuvenation, and similar procedures as requested
• Complies with chemical usage policies for esthetics
• Inform clients on how to recover from each procedure and how to care for their skin
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Sanitizes and maintains equipment
• Replaces sheetings between sessions
• Maintains a clean and professional work environment
• Document all of your appointments
• Advises clients on skin care and possible treatments
Requirements and Qualifications
• Certificate and training
• Bachler degree
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Customer service and patient care skills
• Knowledge of the different processes and services offered
• Proficient with machines
• Laser and cosmetology experience
