Job description:
First contact with end users for a technical assistance via presence, phone, or email Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners Providing a technical support of MS product & Office 365 Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary Perform troubleshooting using different diagnostic techniques. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues Provide quick resolution and excellent Endpoint users service Redirect unresolved issues to the next level of support L2 or L3 support party Provide needed information on IT products or services Keep record of problems and their resolution Follow-up with users to ensure the availability of the IT services Perform additional IT related tasks when required Provide a full support for IT Department. IT Support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications, operating systems and networking. Technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security. Remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services. Monitor the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications and respond accordingly through service tickets. System documentation maintenance & reviewing. Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes, and agreed outages. Advanced understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems. Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care. Diagnosis skills of technical issues. Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly. Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately. Service awareness of all organization’s key services for which support is being provided. Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide services. Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service request details. Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment. Commitment to attend according to working hours from 8-5 PM . Availability after-hours support in emergencies
