Application operations experience and sysadmin skills who focus on mobile applications, hosting infrastructure, and application administration. Work will mostly consist of deploying applications and associated software upgrades to instances in the client-managed cloud environment, as well as deploying packaged updates using tools, where available, and manual intervention and other tech tasks.

- Overseeing the technical operations, hosting, security, and day-to-day administration of our mobile applications and websites and any other new technology.
- Focus on delivering high uptime for our customers.
- Execute operational and project activities consisting of software and application upgrades, as well as patching deployments.
- Participate in handoff processes and calls to ensure service delivery objectives are met consistently across all global teams.
- Interface with Cloud Assurance Managers, Application Managers, Project Leaders, and peers to ensure appropriate prioritization and quality.
- Report problems when incidents are recognized repeatedly at a given customer or across multiple customers.
- Participate in scheduled incident postmortems.
- Participate in postmortem meetings and discussions, providing and documenting details from the incident.
- Manage the technical operations of our mobile applications, including maintenance, updates, troubleshooting, and day-to-day administration.
- Coordinate with the development team to implement new features and enhancements.
- Oversee the hosting infrastructure for our applications and websites, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Monitor cloud server performance, uptime, and security.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect our applications, websites, and data.
- Administer the applications, including user management, access control, and configuration.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers for hosting and security solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mobile application development, hosting, and security.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- B.S in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience working on Cloud (preferably AWS), relational databases (preferably Oracle), and cloud web servers.
MUST qualification:
- Proven experience in mobile application development, hosting, security, and administration.
- Strong understanding of iOS and Android platforms, app store requirements, and mobile app development frameworks.
- Experience managing hosting infrastructure and familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of web hosting technologies, including servers, databases, and content delivery networks (CDNs).
- Experience implementing and maintaining security measures for applications and websites.
- Proficiency in application administration, including user management and access control.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can work Online and attend meetings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent understanding of application architecture, ability to troubleshoot issues rapidly in a production environment. Identify root cause and develop a permanent fix.
- Experience with automation using Python, Shell, or similar tools.
