Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the products of Ophthalmology line.Ensure appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular ‘cold’ calling, are arranged in a professional mannerIncrease sales and market share of Ophthalmology Products through effective territory management and sales executionFollow up with various Ophthalmology sales channelsEnsure the timely and efficient development and implementation of plans that include goals, action plans, time frames and resourcesEstablish strong relationships with a broad base of health care constituents (physicians, private hospitals, teaching hospitals, targeted community hospitals, and community offices) through one-on-one sales presentations, group discussions and medical meeting exhibitsDevelop and implement creative strategies in key accountsOrganize conferences for doctors and other medical staffEnsure that a daily a sound reporting system is maintained so that optimum communication of all information concerning physicians, hospitals and pharmacies to the Medical Field Sales ManagerManage allocated resources (samples, promotional and educational materials) to maximize return within regulatory and ethical guidelinesMonitor competitor activity and competitors’ productsMaintain detailed records of all contacts, which involves database managementRegularly attend company meetings, technical data presentations, and briefingsMeet annual sales targetsPlan daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules in coordination with the Sales ManagerStay up to date on the latest clinical data supplied and present, and discuss the data with healthcare professionals during presentations.Liaise with the Sales Manager to plan and organize events, prepares promotions, sales, and special collections, as well as liaces the Marketing department to facilitate sales of the brand.– Meet on a regular basis with the Sales Manager – Present reports to the Sales Manager on market visits, and issues requiring corrective actions – Contribute to all research needed to ensure proper consumer understanding – Other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager Work Experience: – 1 to 2 years of experience in Ophthalmology preferred. Education and Training: A Bachelor’s degree from a relevant field.Fluently speak, read and write English and ArabicAble to use Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and the internetExcellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a good working relationship with clients.Ability to multi-task and operate effectively in stressful situations.
