Job Description Responsible for the products of products.Ensure appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular ‘cold’ calling, are arranged in a professional mannerIncrease sales and market share of the products through effective territory management and sales executionFollow up with various pharmaceutical sales channelsEnsure the timely and efficient development and implementation of plans that include goals, action plans, time frames and resourcesEstablish strong relationships with a broad base of health care constituents (physicians, private hospitals, pharmacies, teaching hospitals, targeted community hospitals, and community offices) through one-on-one sales presentations, group discussions and medical meeting exhibitsDevelop and implement creative strategies in key accountsMake presentations to doctors, practice staff and nurses in GP surgeries, hospital doctors and pharmacists in the retail sector. Presentations may take place in medical settings during the day or may be conducted in the evenings at a local hotel or conference venueOrganize conferences for doctors and other medical staffEnsure that a daily a sound reporting system is maintained so that optimum communication of all information concerning physicians, hospitals and pharmacies to the Medical Field Sales ManagerManage allocated resources (samples, promotional and educational materials) to maximize return within regulatory and ethical guidelinesMonitor competitor activity and competitors’ productsOversee calls on retail pharmacies and other special customersMaintain detailed records of all contacts, which involves database managementRegularly attend company meetings, technical data presentations and briefingsMeet annual sales targetsPlan daily, weekly, and monthly work schedule in coordination with Sales ManagerStay up to date on the latest clinical data supplied and presenting, and discuss the data with healthcare professionals during presentations.Liaise with the Sales Manager to plan and organize events, prepares promotions, sales and special collections, as well as liaises with the Marketing department to facilitate sales of the brand.Meet on a regular basis with Sales ManagerPresent reports to Sales Manager on market visits, and issues requiring corrective actionsContribute in all research needed to ensure proper consumer understandingOther duties as assigned by the Sales Manager Work Experience: – 1 to 3 years of experience in a related field. Education and Training: – A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in a relevant field. – Fluently speak, read and write English and Arabic – Able to use Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook and the internet – Excellent communication skills and have an ability to maintain a good working relationship with clients. – Ability to multi-task and operate effectively in stressful situations.
