They commonly act as a liaison between the project team and upper management, ensuring that everyone is on the same page with regard to goals, timelines, and other important details. Deputy project managers may also be tasked with managing individual projects. This might include assigning tasks to team members, tracking progress, resolving issues that arise, etc. Job Requirements: A deputy project manager typically needs a bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration or a related field.Good knowledge of software development life cycle.Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor.Excellent communication and leadership skillsExcellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.Decision-making and problem-solving skillsFamiliar with SCRUM / Agile methodologiesExcellent documentation skills.Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.A track record of following through on commitments.Outstanding verbal and written skills and experience working with staff on all levels.Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.Working with all types of people.Degree in Management or training in team leading is a plus.
